this was a recent commission i completed.
a friend of theirs was/is having a baby soon, and the planned name for the baby is/was zeppelin monarch, they are apparently fans of zeppelins, (the blimp, not the band, and the venture bros). so i was asked to do a picture of a zeppelin with monarch butterfly wings, perhaps over a steampunk type city.
so when i heard this i knew it was an opportunity for me to get some environment practice, as well as some digi-painting practice too.
needless to say this is what i came up with. now i want to work up some more things along these lines....
